Our 9th annual 2013 Flat Panel HDTV Shootout Evaluation Event will be 6pm Friday, May 10th and 6pm Saturday, May 11th.

Why no Sharp?

Because no sharp model can compete against these high end models, other than the panny LCD. The only Sharp that could compete was the Sharp elite. But they never released one this year.

Yeah i was hoping to see a new Elite. I prefer lcd brightness and sharpness to plasma.

No..worries... now the plasma"s. Of 2013 case in point ..the 8500 is as bright if not brighter.. than LCD...

Kudos to Value Electronics. I watched the whole shootout and learned some new things about Plasma calibration in the process. I am purchasing a 64F8500 thanks to the shootout results.
