I would say my h20's run 'warm', certainly not 'hot' to the touch. Do have nothing but air around your unit. Regular channels are 480i and, if the source is good, the picture on the screen should be good. Contrary to what others view, SD channels on my Panny plasma look good to very good. Check out live channels such as CNN and CNBC and Weather Channel. You can just set 'native' on your h20 and forget it.

Do all H20's stay so Hot ?
Also I have the Sony XBR 40" Tube TV and the regular channels do not look so great compared to my HD200.
I have it set on 480p for these channels and was wondering it there was any way of improving the picture quality on non HD channels?
