1. "Best in Class" HTPC Component Listing ... (Long)

2. $470 (home built Duron) to $2000+ (pre-built high end system from www.digitalconnection.com or www.avscience.com)

3. Advantages Of A HTPC: What do YOU use it for?

4. "Regarding HTPCs, HTPCs are great but they have a very limited market. Specifically, they tend to only really benefit sets that have inferior internal processing. I have both a HTPC and a progressive DVD player and while the HTPC is essential for my older fixed rate 480p TV[,] I know there is no way it could hold a candle to the display quality that I get from a Toshiba 9200 Progressive DVD player hooked to my 65H80." -- Ebony Blue in the thread, Switchback on HBOHD- Is this the way it used to be? http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/wink.gif
