I have a 4 input VGA switcher box and I'm less then pleased with it. Theres too much ghosting. Does anybody know of a reasonably price 4 port VGA box (I'm a college student) that I could order online?
I'd suggest looking for a KVM switch that has it's own power supply. I had one that was powered through the keyboard ps/2 port and it was great for computers but behaved eratically when there wasn't a powered ps/2 line hooked up to each location.
Definitely get a powered switcher, as Dylan suggests. I used an A-B switch box I bought at RatShak and after a while, it wouldn't handle the signal from my HD SAT receiver. I replaced it with a powered Extron SW2 and haven't had any problems with it. If you like ebay, you might find a 4 input Extron for a good price.
