Good Day.

My Documentation for the Panasonic A300 DVD player is far below

par. It states that I can play a VideoCD.

Can this be a native AVI file burned on a CD? How about a Divx File?

I used Nero last night to code and burn a mpg file to a cdrom but

my DVD player could not read it.

Any suggestions please?

Thank you in advance.

a video cd is mpeg-1 video at 1150 kbits/sec and mpeg-1 audio at a variable bitrate, usually 224 kbits/sec.

you need a video file that meets those specs, as well as a program (like nero) that will burn in video cd format. you can't just throw any video file on the cd and expect the A300 to play it.
