I have a Sammy 54" pcl5415r, that needed the different color guns focused. So I decided to do it myself using the controls in the front inside panel. I isolated each color on the grid and proceeded to focus the green, red and blue. I found out that the green and red were in good shape focus wise, but the blue was slightly off. When I adjusted the blue to best focus the picture became brighter with more contrast, and had a slight silverish look to it (not to my liking). Went back and returned the blue to it's original position, and the picture was the back to it's original form. To the experts here is there any reason for this? Is the blue supposed to be off a bit? Your knowledge and response would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I was hoping the link had more information about your statement, but it looks to be adjustment tips. Got anything relating to why the blue gun needs to be defocused ?
