Well, this is becoming the time of the year when sports are coming back in full swing. Shortly we'll have hockey, then right after that, basketball.
Baseball playoffs are on their way in any day now and it seems as if were beginning to see some light shed on HD coverage of the sports.
Confirmed HD broadcasts:
-Edited-
Hockey - HDNet
MLS- HDNet
Basketball - NBA TV
NFL Football- ESPN-HD, CBS, ABC
College Football - CBS, ESPN-HD, possibly late/post season ABC HD, HDNet
Baseball - No Postseason HD expected at this point.
That's a count of 6 of 6 of the major money making/ratings sports in action at once excluding womens curling (lol) and Olympics. What I'm wondering is; just how many HD trucks there are in this country or on their way off the assembly line (per se) that we'll be seeing HD sports from this year.
At very least I hope that ESPN-HD can put some more trucks out in the field to share Hockey and post-season baseball until Fox takes over and have those trucks move on to basketball in HD.
What do ya think??
