Patrick Stewart, one of the original founders of Stewart Filmscreen, passed away today peacefully at the age of 91 in Palm Springs, California.
Patrick had a passion for the business, worked long hours and was responsible for many of the industry innovations over the years.
By far, Pat's favorite customer was the Walt Disney Company and spent many days at the parks and much of his time assisting the development staff at the Disney's Imagineering facility in Burbank, California. RIP Pat, you will be missed. Pat, far right, inspecting the Disney City Animation Pavilion in Anaheim, CA.

Condolences to you and the Stewart Film Screen family.
91 years is a good run and working in an industry where I’m sure working was also fun and enjoyable and feeling in the end you leave behind some great accomplishments that live on. That’s a life well lived.

Thanks Bud. I pretty much feel that you nailed it above. We all should be so lucky to have a 91 year run at life. Pat worked daily up until he was almost eighty. He was a hands on guy and loved it when a manufacturing machine broke down so he could get his hands dirty helping the crew get it up and running again. His love outside of work was motorcycles and playing golf, which he did weekly up until a few years ago. Yes, he had a good run and I will think of his memorial as a celebration of life.
