A screen with witch gain for a 1271Q

Hi everyone!

I have a Sony VPH-1271Q, and I'm just projecting on a white wall right now, I'm wondering witch gain should I go with this "low lumens" projector (the specs says 650 lumens).

I have 100% control over the ambient light.

Will 1.0 be ok, or 1.3, or should I get a high gain screen, like a 2.0 or 2.5??

What size screen are you looking to purchase? I have a 1252 and just bought a 84" diag 4x3 with 1.5 gain. I'm very happy with it. To me if you use a high power you lose the "film" quality of movies.

Hi thanks for the reply, the screen will be 92" or 106" with a 1.85:1 ratio. I'll be watching mostly DVDs from a HTPC.
