Have a possibly simple question and looking for opinions on the placement of my A/V equipment in the room. Right now I am thinking of three different locations:

A is on the left wall between the two large windows - I would mount racks to the wall.

B is on the rear wall below where the projector is mounted on the ceiling. I would build the same rack as on the left wall.

C would be in the enclosed cabinet that I previously used and is on the other side of the room next to the large closet with the water heater (Also had considered putting everything inside there, but would hate to have something happen in there).

A possible D location could be underneath the screen in the front of the room.

Locations A, B and D require the least amount of speaker cable, but location C would allow for the easiest access and the least amount of noise interference while requiring 2x the wiring. The projector is behind the couch on the ceiling so one HDMI cable needs to be run to that.

My main question is how much would the extra noises + lights from the equipment in locations A or B distract from the experience or other factors that I'm not thinking about. At our previous location we had all the equipment in the enclosed cabinet to the left of the couch and the noise from the PS3 and such would sometimes get very annoying.

Included is a little layout of the room - Layout

A. Easy remote reception and visible display status but out of main line of sight.

A already has shelving from the previous owners, but my main concern with that location was fan and system noise possibly interrupting the audio. Previously things have always been either behind or directly to the side so I'm not sure how having something in front would sound.
