Hi all. I'm looking for an A/V receiver with the capability of switching a DVI video source. I was hoping to find one with 6.1 or 7.1 speaker support and a decent power output. I was hoping to spend less than $2000, but something more may be fine.

Can someone point me in the right direction? So far I've seen only S-video and component video inputs. If someone knows of a receiver that has at least one DVI input, that would be fantastic.

I am curious? Some of you seem to be detractors for DVI? What I am

interested in knowing, have you used it upscaled to your digital

projector"s native rate. If you have used it in this manor, I can not

possibly see how you can not be impressed. I think, some of the

people not inthusiastic about DVI, have not used it. Straight digital

and no processining (ad/da) and you don't think there is improvement?

I have never before seen in audio or video such a radical improvement

of an existing format upwards for so little money before.

I sincerly would like to know the objections to DVI? As far as future

combining of audio signals, as has been said by others on

this forum, there will always be changes coming.

I think the only objection to DVI is the LACK of it.
