ABC's HD channel via Comcast in NJ has been giving me trouble for weeks now...constant pixellization, breakups and audio/video dropouts. HBO is acting up now too. I've called Comcast customer support, and they've "resent the signal," but then they just give up and say a technician should come to the house to check. Anyone else having this problem with ABC, or know what to do about it? I'm not convinced a service call will fix the problem. Could it be the box? All connections seem fine on my end...everything nice and tight. Thanks.
Here's another strange phenomenon: Last night, beginning after the local news, WABC-DT, Channel 7-1, was showing what looked like two-year old HD test patterns and HD promos and 5.1 channel audio tests. Strange, very strange.
