I'm looking for a door to the HT - #1 priority is sound proofing - budget is $200 (though less is preferred)
I was thinking of buying this door from Lowes for $100 and then adding a 2x2 frame to the back onto which I'd put DW+GG+DW (cost ~$50). Total cost w/tax = $160. Is there a better choice?
Also my open space for the door is 78.5" x 28" x 6"
Being that it's not a full 80" high, do I just cut the R/L door jambs on the bottom - or something else?
