Wondering if anyone is using a T-Amp (the original cheap one) with a generic wall wart ac adapter? Any recommendations? Parts Express has the one from Sonic Impact on perpetual backorder. Thanks.

I have one that I salvaged from a light up neon palmtree. It's only 500mA and I think T-amp recomends 1A, but it works, sound okay, and gets loud. I'm sure a little more amperage would give better bass response and dynamics.
Thanks....Tech Service made it seem crazy to use any other AC adapter. It voids the warranty to do so, but I'm not really sweating the $30 purchase. Just don't want to burn the house down or something.
