I am using a Harman Kardon receiver via USB for audio on my Windows HTPC. I have a fresh Windows install with FFDShow working fine. I installed AC3 Filter and it will not open at all. The installation looks fine, but nothing happens when I activate the executable. Anyone have ideas what I could do or if AC3 filter does not work with USB receivers?

Do you have version 1.4.6 or later? I've had similar problems with older version of AC3filter. You might try uninstalling and reinstalling it too.

Apparently I was one of the few that downloaded the non working 1.4.6 installer. Worked fine using the new installer.

Glad to hear it's good now. I think I may also have been one ofthe unfortunate few who got a bad version the first time around.
