In all probability, most, if not all, of these threads are indeed "still there". But, due to the randomly-scheduled archiving that the AVS Forum owners perform, THERE was moved.

As ClearToLand expained, if you studied history you'd know the links work just fine.


I'm hoping he will run against Mugabe in the next free democratic election. With his multicolored campaign retoric burning through OLPC displays of young voters he could portrait himself as the Mandela of Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe needs new leadership.

I feel partly responsible for the bad vibe CTL is sending. You see I can't stand ClearToLand's crazy colors. They bug me, they are a pet peeve, and it bugs me that he clutters up the portal to ReplayFAQ with a bunch of links that don't work, and he won't change these things. So I take jabs at him as is customary in this forum, a custom I was always largely against (calling someone out that is mistaken or giving bad information is different, that is good in my book).


I see a slow pattern with ClearToLand. Someone abuses or jabs at him for his crappy colors (or else) and he turns around and shows he can roll with the boys and jabs someone, then that someone slams him back.


It would be easier if he just got rid of the bad links, and the crazed colors,ect ....and the logically flawed tagline. That would solve some of the CTL tension.


This is just how monkeys handle stress. If a big male monkey of a family goes out to get food, and has to compete with other head-of-monkey-households for resources they will fight for them. The losing monkey returns home with nothing, wounded, and stressed. Studies show that head-of-household-monkeys that internalize this stress become weak and die, or become very ill, and can not provide for the family. It is an ugly fact that head-of-household-monkeys who return and slap the mama monkey across the face instead of internalizing the stress remain healthy. But now the mama monkey is stressed and must externalize it so she smacks her son, the son in turn slaps his sister, and she in turn slaps the baby monkey. Interestingly, this whole process of 4-5 slaps typically happens in a 15 second period. Can you visualize that? I think that is what is happening here. The only hole in this theory is that KenL has not taken a jab at anyone.

Speaking of pet peaves, what's with all the cow poop/fart jokes? I thought goatse.cx made them all obsolete (do not google that and click the image tab). I like to think we are quirky, not 5, aye? Self-respect aside, no one wants to see fire come out of a cow's butt (i think). Seeing that makes me less funny not more.
