Accurate tower speaker for $500/pair?

I currently have Bose 901 VI. Got a new Yamaha RX-V757 (old Yammy died after 16 years) and need to get new speakers because the reciever does not have amp in/out, so I can't hook up the Bose (besides they take up too much room).


Can anyone recommend a good tower speaker that is very accurate for $500/pair.


I have read review after review, but not many mention the accuracy of the speaker. I use the system to listen to music about 50% of the time and TV/Movies 50% of the time. I don't need to blast the music, I just want to accurately reproduce the sounds.


Any help would be great! I need to make sense out of all the choices.
