Looks like Ace Ventura is in widescreen here in LA on KTLA. Can't tell if it's an upconvert.

It is looking way better than a typical KTLA movie broadcast...it appears to be in some widescreen version. How is that possible, i've only seen full screen versions on dvd. Awesome, look forward to this broadcasting trend on there future movie features!

Ace Ventura tonight is shown as part of The WB broadcast, which means that it IS in HD widescreen. Two weeks ago, The WB had "Crazy/Beautiful" in HD. There have been some WB movies not showned in HD. No movie shown on KTLA outside of The WB schedule is HD or widescreen, they're all upconverts. In fact, the only time you'll see movies in HD over the air, when available, is when they're shown during network programming, not as local programming.
