Hi to all,

I am hoping for ideas/suggestions.

I have bought a second hand Acer H5360 with a faulty DMD chip, replaced it successfully, and now i am getting a yellowish "burnt" color on the left side of the projected image - the rest is perfect.

If you notice there is a bit of a "rainbow" change on the color, as well as a tiny discolored spot on the top.

I have searched around and read about the light tunnel problem and was wondering if the part failed, which i doubt.

I also do not think it is the lamp.

Any ideas? Could it be something in the way for some reason?
Also in the manual there is information regarding "rod adjustment", which i have not tried yet since the screws are glued and will need to remove the glue if i need to rotate them.

I have already cleaned the color wheel and any dust i could.

I am handy with disassembling, so please let me know if you have any idea.

Thanks in advance!

Since you replaced the DMD yourself, you might as well open it up again and make sure the optical path is clear. It looks like an obstruction of some sort, you'll just have to backtrace the path to find the problem.

I have already tried that, will try again. If anyone has this projector and is familiar with the "insides" please let me know.

I will upload pictures as well in case it doesn't work.

Thanks!
