Modern AVR's have largely become a commodity these days with only minor differences in sound quality / character between them, so the speakers will impose the greatest influence on the final sound.
Speakers all sound very different from one another and which you like can only be determined by you listening to them. Buying speakers based on opinion is like trying to buy a car without ever having taken any of your options for a test drive. This may work fine if you are easy to please, but if you are particular about what you like, you just need to go to your local AV stores and listen to everything in your price range.
I know my friend, you're right but I live in a small village and the nearest shop that has those speakers (to listen them) is far away.In other words distance is the problem. Also I just want to read some thoughts,or complains if there exist,to create a first impression it doesn't mean that what ever you tell me I am going to do so.
Also,I would like you people to comment the fact that:
1) Dali Ikon 6 MK2 has EISA (very important!) and What Hi-Fi award
and Acoustic Energy has only What Hi-Fi award
2)Dali is completely manufactured in Denmark and Acoustic energy (English design but made in China)
3)In my country Greece,Aelite 3 (AE) is 400 cheaper than the Dali 7 Ikon MK2 which means that the second has every reason to be better..
*Also I would like you to tell me your opinion about Monitor Audio RX8 in adittion with the other two brands..
well, I've listened to the dali Helicons and some entry level AEs, but not the particular models you are interested in. I recommend that you check out www.ecoustics.comand and www.audioreview.com for reviews.
