Hello:

I'm just about ready to do the acoustic treatment for my theater and was wondering which half to treat.. the top half or the bottom half?

Can't do both :( I'm broke...:(

Thanks!

And that would be "ear level" when your sitting up in your seat watching a movie: not "ear level" wallowing around on the floor crying because your broke.

And of course that would be an absorption treatment.

Not the puddle of tears type of absorption either. Strickly sound absorption, you know first reflections of crys and sobbing.

Thanks!

I'll be covering the bottom half (ear level, when seated and not wallowing around :) ) with theatre-Shield and GOM fabric

The area above ear level will be mirrors

KIDDING ... :)

Thanks everyone and happy thanksgiving..

Best would be to promote difussion by scattering absorption throughout the walls. Same absorption levels but better effect. Make sure to place absorption in the mirror points of all speakers to the sweet spot.

Check the bibliography in the ReadMe file of the Mediaroom spreadsheet package.
