Activation went away...

Hey guys! First time poster... Long time lurker...

I've got 3 Replay 4500s that had been working fine for years. Then, just a few weeks ago, one of them came up with the Activation Screen and locked me out. Here's some info regarding the situation:

- The screen does show the S/N and Key so I don't think it's the chip.

- It actually is connected because I could pull my shows off with DVArchive but when I go to 243-zones and force a connection it tells me it can't

- I can't get into the menu...

- I already got another HDD and restored a saved system to no avail, same screen

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

It can not reset the activation until it successfully connects. If it will not manually connect using 243 zones screen option 7, you will have to restore to factory default (382 zones, lose all shows and setup data).
Thanks a bunch! Worked like a charm! I did have some problems when I rebooted, but that was due to my DHCP server wigging out a little... Once that was taken care of the setup screens came up without issue!

Thanks again!
