I am remodeling my bathroom and have it open to the studs. I am considering in ceiling or in wall speakers. I can't really run the speaker wires all the way to the AVR (amplifier) in the living room. My primary use will be to serve music (through airplay) from my MAC mini in the living room, or my iPhone. I am thinking I will have an airport express connected to the speakers (thus the need for the speakers to be active). If the speakers themselves support airplay even better but that is not a must. Bedroom and dining room are setup like these with aiport express and audio engine active speakers but for the bathroom I will need in wall or in ceiling speakers that are also good for wet locations.

Any suggestions experiences with similar setup?

I am also willing to consider other solutions to get the music from my mac mini in the living room (which is connected to the AVR) to the bath short of running speaker wires to the AVR. A bonus would be to get all audio from mac mini to bath but I am willing to compromise and only get airplay.
