Adding an extra dvi blade to the panasonic TH-42PA20

Thie is the commerical plasma (purchased in 2003) is it possible to add an extra HDMI/DVI blade to this plasma? Thanks in advance.

If you are talking about the "6UY" Models...


DVI = yes

HDMI = No (The HDMI Board is compatible with the "7UY" Models only)



Remove the Standard Terminal and add a second DVI Board in the slot 2.


The only downside is that S-Video won't be possible anymore.

Just like the DVI Board (And HDMI) , The S-Video/Composite Board can be installed in the slot 1 or 2 only.

Bruzzi, sorry it's the TH-42PA20U The consumer one with silver bezel, is it possible to add extra DVI blade? Thanks-
As far as I know, the consumer model video inputs are fixed and not modular, so adding a new blade is not possible.


If you need two DVI inputs, you'll have to go with an external switcher.
