Adding led strip to emerson LF320EM4 A

My question is, can I add an additional led strip to my Emerson LF320EM4 A to improve picture quality, as it only has one nine light strip. Compared to my JVC with more backlighting, the Emerson has less light and clairity and demands backlight control to run at maximum.
