Adding more cables..Interference?

720 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  Terry Montlick
I've decided to keep my current receiver instead of buying a new one with HDMI passthrough. As a result I need to run a few extra cables to my hdtv. I'm wondering if these cables can be run next to each other. I have two separate conduits behind the wall so I can mix them up if necessary.

2 HDMI cables - 12ft

1 optical audio - 12ft

1 IR repeater cable - 25ft (only 12 used)

Should I be worried about interference, and if so, what cable combinations should I do to reduce any potential problems?
