Additional 3-yr Warranty on Pioneer DVD Player/Recorder Firmware.

This might already be common knowledge, but just in case, Pioneer warrants its DVD player/recorder firmware for THREE YEARS as a "Additional Warranty." Here's the link.

It sounds nice, but they only warrant that the firmware will "play pre-recorded DVD discs manufactured in accordance with DVD Forum specifications". There's no mention of a warranty which would address problems such as the TVGOS implementation...
