It's an inexpensive solution, it works, but it doesn't get as good as other units we get up here. As most people here are videophiles, they get higher end units.


I'm not sure if we have many owners of this unit around...

Check out the New HDTV ETC. issue on all things HD, In the opening pages there is a note from the editor on how they where going to test the unit and unfortunately had some issues even getting it pluged in and back to ADS it went.........that kinda scared me, and also the lack of any real positive reviews, found maybe one or two, it bums me out as it seemed a good solution for switching with a bonus of upconversion at a price to step into this technology that would not kill the budget...My first rule for anything I have is to seek information on HT but not rule anything great or ****e until I can actually see it my self.....but this one scares me..

what are some of the better upconverters? i havent done much research on this topic... can you point me in the right direction?
