The listing from HDnet's Web site is: Party of the Century for PETA. If a Mod wants to delete this post I understand. That was quite a mistake in the online guide.

Here's one litmus test: what is your position on allowoing the hunting of deer?


PETA supporter: "Jail the hunters for killing poor Bambi!"


Rational person: "Since we have eliminated all natural predators of the deer (by encroachment of civilization, which of course PETA also views as bad - back to tents and no TV's now Frank!) we must hunt deer to control their population, else they will overrun us. Looked at deer/ auto collision statistics lately? (Of course, PETA doesn't want autos around either.)


Now honestly, Frank, you don't really support PETA, now do you?

Seriously, is a wolf "bad" because it eats rabbits? If there's a moral dimension to eating meat, would it be justified to kill all the carnivorous animals in nature just to protect the potential prey? Man has eyes on the front of his head instead of the sides for a reason. That swine that we are debating is an omnivore. Its wild boar ancestors would have been delighted to chow down on a human, given the chance.
