Can you post a layout sketch of the room with current speaker placement?

Hi Dustin -

I found that ticket and sent you another reply.

In short, the order of preference is ceiling mounting per Dolby 5.1.4 recommendations, side-wall placement in the same horizontal plane as the Dolby recommendation, and then front/rear wall placement.

Your AVR supports the current front/rear wall placement and many enthusiasts use this set-up due to physical constraints, wiring limitations, visual impact and decor integration.

With that said, moving the speakers closer to what is shown in the Dolby recommendation will provide more immersive overhead effects than will front/rear wall placement.

If you can mount the speakers on the ceiling and run the wires to those locations, we would be happy to send you the ceiling locks at no cost. These devices lock the two sections of the bracket together to prevent accidental separation and the speaker falling.

If you mount on the ceiling, strongly recommend that two of the screws go directly into a ceiling stud and the other two go into expanding drywall anchors which open-up behind the drywall for maximum strength/safety.

You and your team have really gone above and beyond with all the after support. I'm very grateful!
