I currently have a 53 inch Hitachi RPTV in my living room. In the next year or so, we will be refinishing our basement and I'm going to have my very own theater room. I'm not exactly pleased with my current tv, so I am considering selling it and getting a new one. After roaming this forum, it seems that FP's are the way to go for dedicated theater rooms, but not so hot for living room setups. Should I...

a) Keep the current TV, save my cash and buy a $3-$4K FP in a year or so (probably won't be able to sell the current TV at this point)?

b) Sell off the current TV, get a small direct view TV for the living room, and get a FP later?

c) Sell off the current TV, get a nice RPTV for the living room and move it to the basement when the theater is ready

I'm leaning towards C because I don't want to go back to the little TV and I think I would be just as happy with an RP in the basement as a FP...the size of the room won't be that big so a 57" or 65" would be fine. Plus I'd think it would be easier to set up. I haven't seen any FP's though, and people around this site seem to rave about them.
