Advice on matching my old school mains to modern surrounds

Currently I have some old school Acoustic Research S40s with the below specs:

Type Floorstanding loudspeaker

Frequency response 26Hz-20kHz +/-3dB

Driver complement 1'' silk dome tweeter, 6.5'' woofer

Nominal impedance 8 ohms

Sensitivity 90dB

Recommended amplifier power 20 - 200W

Cabinet finishes Black ash laminate

Dimensions 8''W x 39.5''H x 13.6''D

Weight 47.3 lbs. each

These go with a matched AR SC2 center and a Sony WM40 sub

I had a pair of AR S20 bookshelves to use as rear surrounds, but unfortunately these will be too big for my new house and I want some smaller wall mountable satellites that can be pointed toward my listening area.

I'm looking at going with the Klipsch RSX-5:

BANDWIDTH 92Hz-20kHz ± 3dB

SENSITIVITY 93dB @ 2.83 volts/1 meter

NOMINAL IMPEDANCE 8 ohms compatible

CROSSOVER FREQUENCY 2000Hz

POWER HANDLING 75 watts (300 watts peak)

ENCLOSURE TYPE Bass-reflex via rear-firing port

DRIVE COMPONENTS Two way system using one 1'' (2.5cm)

magnetically shielded, titanium dome

compression driver tweeter with an integral

round 90° MicroTractrix Horn and one 5.25''

(13.3cm) magnetically shielded, Cerametallic

cone woofer

WEIGHT 7 lbs. (3.2kg) including base

HEIGHT 12.3'' (31.2cm) including base

WIDTH 6.8" (17.3cm)

DEPTH 9.4" (23.9cm)

Will this be overkill for the rear? I'm assuming so but I want something small and good for HT but still has the big 5.25" woofer that sounds good in music. If anyone has some other suggestions for rear surrounds please send them my way! Thanks.
