Hey guys,
I have a Rotel RSP-1068 surround processor that is non-HDMI so I'm not able to take advantage of the lossless audio formats on BD. I was thinking about replacing it with a processor/receiver that does have HDMI, but I'm concerned that if I replace it with a basic(cheaper) pro/receiver with HDMI the 1068 still might sound better with the lossy DD/DTS formats since it does have nice DACs. So I guess I was wondering how much I would have to spend on an HDMI unit to notice a big difference between standard codecs on the 1068 and lossless ones on new unit? I hope that makes sense.
