Are your graphics card drivers up-to-date?


Back when I was on a PC, I had some similar problem with my ATI video card with some video players, until they eventually corrected a bug in a later drivers update.


Since I'm on a Mac now, I can't use AE Writer as there are no Mac version of this software...yet.

hehe.... well, I guess I'm just special.

If I remember right, after I first installed it, it didn't do that. I'm also thinking it's doing it on another PC too... need to check for sure though.


Video drivers are up to date. Could be something else is not playing nice with it, maybe some video codec or something it might be sharing or competing with.


Just thought I would throw it out there and see if anyone else ever had that issue.

Not sure if HE Writer uses DS filters, but you may like to install DirectShowSpy.dll to find out.

Had the same issue with my copy of this program. Easy fix. I got rid of it as it is totally worthless for what I do.


In reality, I tried reloading it to no avail. So I deleted it.
