I took a look at an AE100 with an iscan v2.

With widescreen material (Dances With Wolves from DTS sampler, Mission Impossible), I had to use the iscan's horizontal squeeze to get proper AR, so there were black bars all around. In W480 mode there is apparently no AR control.

I don't know if either of the discs are anamorphic, but if they're not, that could explain it, because if they were then the images would have been taller and the hor. squeeze wouldn'y have been needed.

But then what about nonanamorphic material?

Did we miss something?

Thanks
