I am considering the AE100. A friend of mine in Japan visited a store to give me his opinion on this projector. His comments were positive but he did mention the AE 100 has been on the market for over 1 year.

The Sony is said to be a new model and only +200 or so more.

Any opinions on these two projectors?

I had the same question a few days ago, but now im for the AE100, if I could just find it at a resonable price in the EU

The AE 100 will be a new modell with an 16:9 panel; for HT please see at all the other posts about this unit;


the Sony VPl-CS4 is still the older modell; I would not recommend this unit for HT; Also in Germany we have problems with the service (is said);

use google, than you will find a lot of dealers in Germany, who sell this unit for a well done price; if you find not, send an e-mail, I will give some adresses
