I have mounted my projector on ceiling of theater and was surprised to see that the picture cannot be lowered very much compared to what it could be raised when I was using it on a table surface. Is that normal? I was not planning to use a downrod because I like the look of a tight fit on the ceiling. I assume that Panasonic did not give much emphasis on ceiling mounting therefore the difference was deliberate but thought I would run it through the community. Otherwise nice machine for the money. Lots of praise from friends. New Carada 106 Brilliant White. Nice screen for the money.

I did not notice a lens shift adjustment difference when going from table to ceiling mount.

Are you using keystone adjustment? Are you shooting straight at the screen in both cases?

Same here. I have mine ceiling mounted and have quite a bit of downthrow, though I'm limited by also throwing to the side, which definitely cuts back on the amount of downthrow available.
