AE900U / DVI>HDMI / iScan Trouble, advice please

972 Views 0 Replies 1 Participant Last post by  violins
Hello all,

I have just purchased a Panasonic AE900U projector to replace my Sanyo Z2.

The Z2 was used with Denon 910 DVD > component cables > DVDO iScan Ultra > BetterCables DVI dual-link cable, with good results.

Yesterday I obtained an adapter (DVI female/HDMI male) so my DVI cable could connect to the Panny, but the Panny won't recognize any signal (blue screen). I have HDMI input selected on the projector, and DVI output with the iScan (same as with the Z2).

So, I am running it with my 15pin/VGA/analog cable. Good, but I know the Z2 was cleaner with the digital cable. Any ideas why there seems to be a conflict between the iScan Ultra and the Panasonic AE900U, and how it could be resolved?

Thanks.
