I'm curious if anyone has any experience using the Aerial SW12 with another company's speakers.

I'm using Revel Studios which sound WONDERFUL but I'm possibly interested in extending their low frequency response.

The Revel sub is about 8K with its dedicated amp(gulp!)and I'm getting the idea that after reading all of the positive posts on the Aerial that it might blend in with other makers speakers, considering all the parameters you can adjust.

Thanks guys for your responses.

Ive heard of people with more expensive/ "higher end" than the aerial speakers using the sw12 in their systems and they are very impressed. I think I heard this from some very pro-aerial people though. I think youd be very happy w/ 1 sw12 and blown away with 2.

I have Aerials in the rest of our system. Thought I'd get that disclaimer out of the way first. We started with one SW12 and liked it so much that we listened to the dealer, Aerial and others about getting two.

I am glad we have two and glad that I did one at a time. That way we were able to see what each one did. When the second one arrived we were able to see what contribution it made.

With those speakers I think you will be amazed at what this sub does for music.

Deniz and I agree on this one. I have three Aerial SW12s. They are so musical yet so home theater thumpin' that they will work well with whatever excellent speakers that you use!
