I don't quite know how to explain what im seeing. It's like every 3-4 seconds, i notice the picture seems to darken. But obviously its not getting darker and darker, because if it was, eventually the whole screen would be black...But yeah, it does look as if it turns a shade darker for a split second..


Does anybody know what that is? Do i need a new bulb? Or am i just noticing the rainbow effect after 2 years?


I've heard people describe the rainbow effect, and i dont really think thats what im seeing...But who knows..

That is not the rainbow effect. Sounds like a bulb but I'm not sure. If it is the bulb you will know for sure before long.

Thanks guess ill just wait and see then. I did not notice it during the NFL conference championships today.
