A number of members have reported that listings for tonight's ALCS game, sourced from FOX NYC & LA, has shown up in the DirecTV IPG.

Also, Scott Greczkowski of Sat Guys has said Dish may also have the same feeds on the 61.5 sat location.

More to come, I'm sure....

It reads this right in the on-screen guide:

(chan 88): MLB from WNYW-TV, New York, New York, Fox, Local.

(chan 89): MLB from KTTV-TV, Los Angeles, California, Fox, Local.

This is funny now! are we saying that D* is going to put them on 88 and 89 to coincide with the sd versions 388 and 389. Wouldnt it be funny if this was what the problem was all along. Still if its on Im not going to be happy with SD FSN for the Cardinals.. Oh well.

They are doing both because some people only get one or the other, not both... So if they didnt show the west feed, some people would get left out who shouldnt, and vice versa

What about the NLCS game tonight, will it be in HD in any area?

I just heard on ESPN PTI that it is only on cable (I assume that includes satellite also). My local paper list the Cards-Astros on FSN. Since we did get some SF Giants and Oakland A's games in HD on FSN-BA via Comcast I wonder if they will have the NLCS game tonight in HD?

ya.. like ucsbgaucho said.. i too am guessing they have already done all the processing on everyone's accounts to see who is eligble for FoxHD E or W and flagged the accounts accordingly... rather than recompute all of that and reauthorize everyone for a single channel, they are probably just using virtual mirrors of the FoxHD E/W feeds with the same authorization on them.

Ditto on my 360 but I scrolled the guide forward past the game and it shows no programming just TBA.

I just called up to get Fox HD added to my account, the rep was familiar with the O&O process, but they stated that they do not have the ability to add Fox HD to any accounts. The supervisor stated the same thing - they have no way to physically do it at this time.

I asked to send a complaint to Direct TV management. Showing a channel in the Program Guide that your customers can't subscribe to even though they meet the criteria is the equivalent of a store offering their customers products they don't sell.

If someone talks to a rep later that states something different please advise. Perhaps it just isn't added to the CSR's program package yet.

I was also told if it isn't added by this point in the day don't expect it to change overnight.

Correct.. Fox is here on Direc TV 10/13/04

Fox 88

Fox 89

now what i don't understand yet is why they put " ??? Network HD Televison" for NBC and CBS but when i look at Fox on 88/89 it says "MLB from WNYW" .. so i guess Fox-HD hasn't really came to DirecTV yet?

The new Fox channels are only for MLB games i take it? it says "upcoming: MLB Baseball" it doesn't have regualr shows as NBC-HD and CBS-HD has..

i guess read the thread :p

Finnatic: I too am seeing Fox HD listed as "Fox HD_*". I am not able to get CBS or NBC and these are not listed. Got my fingers crossed.

Hi to all. I just got this info in Fox Sports web site.

Regional breakdown for Wednesday's split-national telecast

FOX Sports

Posted: 3 hours ago

On Wednesday, Oct. 13 (8:00 p.m. ET), FOX Sports provides a split-national telecast of Game 2 of the ALCS and Game 1 of the NLCS.

Certain areas of the country receive ALCS Game 2 on their local FOX over-the-air broadcast affiliate, while a simultaneous live feed of NLCS Game 1 is available on their local FSN regional sports network. Those areas of the country receiving NLCS Game 1 on FOX over-the-air, are able to watch ALCS Game 2 on the local FSN regional network.

In addition, FOX Sports has set up alternate channels with satellite broadcasters DirecTV and DISH/Echostar to ensure that both games are available to subscribers of the country's largest DBS companies. For DirecTV customers, if your local FOX affiliate is carrying ALCS Game 2, NLCS Game 1 will be available on your FSN regional, or channels 644 or 646, and vice versa. For DISH/Echostar customers, if your local FOX affiliate is carrying NLCS Game 1, ALCS Game 2 will be available on your FSN regional, or channels 445 or 446, and vice versa.

Below is a breakdown of the top 56 markets, detailing which game will be carried by the FOX over-the-air broadcast station. Below that is a list of each FSN regional sports network and which game it's scheduled to carry
