All this talk of PANEL LOTTERY VA/IPS worries me... Is it only for LG models?

or does the same thing apply for Vizio etc... I was going to order online but now all this VA/IPS panel lottery talk worries me for other brands too....


What shady business practices...

It pretty much happens to every manufacturer, except some who have no records of doing so. By means of "lottery" panels.


I don't believe these companies, though don't take my word for it, are using bait-and-switch tactics but do still use other panels:

- SONY

- Sharp

- Panasonic

- Vizio


Obvious companies doing bait-and-switch.

- Samsung ( http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1178897 ) Pretty much every model is under the panel lottery to a certain extent.

- LG ( IPS vs *VA)
