I finally made the leap in purchasing my Home Theater, and part of the setup is a Rotel RSX-1056 Receiver.

I don't think it has a decent antenna built in, so I want to purchase a good AM/FM antenna for it, and maybe a HDTV antenna for OTA ( I was looking at a Terk TV-55 for that).

Any good recommendations on a Radio antenna? Indoor or Outdoor is OK, and I am not in a very remote area (about 35 miles from NYC and I get all AM/FM stations clearly in my car).

Everyone's experience is appreciated!

I would think a nice midsized combo antenna would be what you need.

Go to this site http://www.antennaweb.org/aw/welcome.aspx for recommendation on antenna for television.

Any combo the right size for TV should be great for FM. AM is another story. If you really want to receive AM do some search on that. It is quite possible the AM antenna that comes with receiver will be good enough.

Before you jump into check with people in your area to see if they have any problems unique to your area. Some people have lots of FM interference that causes them to need to use an FM blocker for their TV, and thus a separate FM unit.
