Amature Light Control

381 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  bud16415
so I just bought a new house and got permission from the wife to use a little black paint. It’s a multipurpose room so i don’t have free reign. I’ve got a 100” screen i’m gonna put here and just want to create as much of a light trap as possible. the yellow wall is going to be gray (the rest of the basement) and the first two rows (8’) of ceiling tiles will be black. i’m sure the more the merrier but do y’all think this will work? or should i keep going down the yellow wall and more tiles?

You should be good to go for locally reflected light! Nice thing about paint, you can always add more! :)

Looks good. I would close in from the black wall to the column with a black wall or a black curtain.
