Has anyone had any experience with Amazon warehouse deals (or open box, like new, or used in general) TVs?

They have a few deals I am eyeing right now. The one that's currently got my attention is the 'like new' PN51E7000 for around 800$. They don't have any new ones available so I'm guessing this is an older model.

I bought something from Amazon warehouse and it was fine, Amazon does have good deals and stands behind what they sell. As far as new run the model # in google to see if there are new ones out there.

From the research I did I seems like a total crapshoot. Some folks had no problems, even with sets that were listed in not so good condition, others had cracked screens shipped to them on the ones deemed in top shape.

I've never had an issue with Warehouse Deals. I've purchased TV's, camera's, even a garbage disposal and never had an issue. Yesterday, I just bought a Panny TC-P55GT50 for $780.00. With the TV's you always have a 30 day return guarantee. Take a shot, if you don't like or it's damaged send it back for a refund.

Yousa good buy !

I just wanted to add I've bought some things from Amazon warehouse all were good and packed well only had an issue with one item they accepted a return , paid return shipping (with a prepaid shipping label you print out ) and cross shipped a replacement the credits and debits went smoothly no problems here.

but then I've never bought a TV from them in any event they seem to take care of any problems right away.
