I was thinking I was going to have to wait until the end of next month for this board to show up. Happened to find it today on Newegg.com. Should be perfect for a HTPC and if I read right it supports 7.1 sound pass through HDMI with the new chipset.


Gigabyte is first vendor to have it ready

I'd wait for the PGM version with sideport memory. Also, wait until the new drivers come out to make sure all is working OK from some consumer reviews.

I forgot to update, but I canceled the order after reading some reports of the drivers not working correctly at the moment. I am going to wait for the AM3 only version probably.
