While doing some spring programming I noticed there's an American Idol

special on Mon 4/21 (in place of Boston Public) Depending on how you

have AIdol set up to record, you may need an extra entry to pick this

one up.

This Monday (4/14) Boston Public is being replaced by a 2-hour Married By America. The Practice is a repeat that night also, as is Alias the night before, so I don't think I'm gonna have anything to watch!

Must be for Eastern Time Zone only. PDT shows AI on Tuesday and Wednesday on normal schedules.

I'm in SF Bay Area and 4/21 8pm shows American Idol Special followed

by new show Mr. Personality. The regular tue/wed American Idols are

still scheduled, so the Monday show is in addition to those.

I too am in the SF Bay Area (San Francisco) and I see that Monday's Fox schedule has:


7-10pm Major League Baseball

... News

... Sienfeld

12-2am Married by America


American Idol is at it's regular Tues and Wed night time slots.

Yes that is my schedule for Mon 4/14 also.


The American Idol Special is on Mon 4/21

I've done net connects a couple of times just recently today and still don't see American Idol scheduled on Monday 4/21. I'm in southern CA.


EDIT: Never mind, I just did a net connect one more time and now it shows up. Thanks for the heads up.

Silly me! I WAS checking the wrong dates.


Seems like there is an upcoming special American Idol! Yippee!


Could it be a dueling show, where contestants from last seasons show try to out sing this years contestants? LOL!!!

Here's a link to Fox's schedule for next week which shows the special. If you click on it for details it still says that they are being finalized, but I guess they will fill in some info sooner or later.

Be careful. This show is actually listed in the guide as "American Idol Special". Consequently, a show based "American Idol" channel will miss it. Your Replay will only record it if you have a theme based "American Idol" channel. The other option is to set it up as a single record.

Actually they changed the title to:


American Idol: Halfway Home


My Single record of American Idol Special from last week still shows a

red dot for AI: Halfway Home, but I deleted/added an entry just to be

sure.

That's WEIRD! The channel that I set up last week (before the name change) shows that there are no shows to record.


So I updated it to record tonights show - with the title change.
