Hey guys, ive built a sub for ht and im using an oldie pioneer 12" open air as the driver. I got it for free and decided to utilize it. The case is air sealed mdf box. For the amp im using a small 2ch car amp "street audio str-352 usa" which gives me 300w rms bridged. The thing is this amp pushes as low as 40hz which is nice.
My q is this: i want to put the amp inside the box of the sub but im concerend about heating of the amp.
I have tested the sub with the amp on the back of it and it sounds real nice but it takes alot more space which i dont really have..
Shiuldbi put it inside the case or mount it outsife on the back like it is now?
