Amp for HD595 headphones

I'm a novice with everything audio related. I just bought an Onkyo TX-SR705 for my home theater but I'm also very often using it to play music on my computer via an optical cable.

I'm using Sennheiser 595 headphones at the moment and just plugging them directly in the Onkyo and using the Pure Audio preset.

I am wondering if I would see (or in this case, hear) a significant difference if I bought a proper headphone amp to go along with them...

Assuming that the answer is yes, I have no idea about my budget for this as I don't know how much they cost, but I definitely want to get the best value out of my headphones. I'd like to get some recommendations; I don't mind shelling out a decent amount of money if it proves to be worth it.
