I just purchased a set of AW-6500 def tech speakers. I was under the impression that my denon avr-3808ci receiver had outputs for the second zone. I now realize it is just a preamp. So Im looking for a inexpensive 2 channel amp that pushes 200-250 watts into 8 ohms. Ive been told carver is the way to go. I dont want to spend more than $200-250 the cheaper the better. I figure its not going to make that much difference on the brand or quality....however I dont want a piece of junk that fails after 6 months either. Any help would be greatly appreciated
